Demeanor & Appearance:

His arrogance makes him hard to deal with. He is heinously judgmental of those around him and personally deems who is worthy to be around him. He is guilty of obvious scrutiny but doesn’t care who knows it. He wishes for others to cater to him, despite his profession, which calls for compromise and negotiation. He hates to be told his wrong and hates more to be challenged even and especially when he’s wrong. This troll has a lot of pride and won’t care to change it for anyone. Despite barking orders, he rarely does the truly dirty work for himself. Much like the Condesce, he has someone else to do it for him. If the situation calls where he has to take matters into his own hand, he gets thoroughly upset.

He doesn’t keep ties to many people. In fact, he actively tries to avoid it. He’s not one for loyalty. However, there are few he can make exceptions for. When he makes a bond, he tries not to break it. He’s also not one for burning bridges with said people he has affiliations with.

Much like Eridan and Feferi, Dualscar and the Condsesce grew up together because of their families. However, because of their clashing yet similar personalities, the two never trusted each other enough to be moirails or anything of the sort. In fact for most of their lives, they have been extremely wary of each other. They kept in touch for business, as it was hard for them to avoid each other on that front, but they were never on a personal level together.

They were, however, closer in their younger years before their families involved them with merchant business. Once they were pulled away for business, they began to distance from each other emotionally. During their teenage year, they had a hard time trusting each other because of their parents. As they grew older, they understood that they needed each other for business, that and because of lower castes wanted nothing to do with them. This caused a unified disdain for the lower bloods to grow in them. This was one of the lasting things they had in common with each other.

Dualscar is by no means a standup guy. Despite that fact that he does public trading, he has secret dealing with an underground group. This group is made of highblood primarily who wish to scam lowbloods out of their riches. The Condesce is also a part of this group. However, she and Dualscar work separately most of the time. The organization deals with shady trading, overpricing goods, and sometimes theft. The scarring on Dualscar’s face actually comes from a botched scam.

A lowblood wanted to trade in something rather expensive for something else of value. What he’s offering is more than enough to get what he wants, but Dualscar refused to take it, asking for more. The lowblood was angered by this, but Dualscar was the only one who had what he wanted. He accepted the highblood’s trade begrudgingly and promised to bring the payment in two weeks time. When he comes back, Dualscar presented the lowblood with damaged goods. The enraged trader wanted payback for the nasty scam. He went off to tell others of the highblood swindling other traders. He managed to wrangle a few others who had also been wronged by Dualscar. They managed to catch the merchant when he was alone. The lowblood demanded that Dualscar repay him, but again, the highblood refused. One of the trolls threatened him. Dualscar stood his stubborn ground, denying the other troll’s their rightful due. He was unfazed by their efforts. That is until one of the trolls actually attacked him.

When Dualscar returned with his new wounds, the Condesce shook her head and laughed at him for being careless. Despite her teasing and overall amusement at his abuse, she helped treat the wounds.
